Shrimp Francese White Wine

Ingredients

1 pound large shrimp cleaned and deveined

3 large eggs beaten

1 teaspoon salt 

½ teaspoon pepper

1 cup all purpose flour

½ cup + 3 tablespoons butter, divided

4 cloves garlic, minced

3 tablespoons butter

3 tablespoons all purpose flour

½ cup Yo Mama White Cooking Wine

¾-1 cup chicken broth

2 tablespoons lemon juice

1/4 cup fresh parsley, minced

Spaghetti, to serve

Instructions

  1. In a small bowl whisk the eggs, salt, and pepper. Add the all purpose flour to a second small bowl.
  2. Dredge shrimp in flour, then egg mixture, then flour again. Set aside.
  3. Heat ½ cup of the butter in a large skillet. Cook the shrimp in batches for 2-3 minutes per side. Do not overcrowd the pan. Remove the shrimp from the pan and set aside on a paper towel lined plate.
  4. Wipe out the pan, then melt the remaining 3 tablespoons of butter.
  5. Add the garlic and cook for 30 seconds.
  6. Add the flour and whisk to combine.
  7. Add Yo Mama cooking wine and boil for 30 seconds, then whisk to combine.
  8. Whisk in the broth and lemon juice.
  9. Add the cooked shrimp back to the pan and toss.
  10. Serve over pasta with garnish of fresh parsley.
