Shrimp Francese White Wine
Ingredients
1 pound large shrimp cleaned and deveined
3 large eggs beaten
1 teaspoon salt
½ teaspoon pepper
1 cup all purpose flour
½ cup + 3 tablespoons butter, divided
4 cloves garlic, minced
3 tablespoons butter
3 tablespoons all purpose flour
½ cup Yo Mama White Cooking Wine
¾-1 cup chicken broth
2 tablespoons lemon juice
1/4 cup fresh parsley, minced
Spaghetti, to serve
Instructions
- In a small bowl whisk the eggs, salt, and pepper. Add the all purpose flour to a second small bowl.
- Dredge shrimp in flour, then egg mixture, then flour again. Set aside.
- Heat ½ cup of the butter in a large skillet. Cook the shrimp in batches for 2-3 minutes per side. Do not overcrowd the pan. Remove the shrimp from the pan and set aside on a paper towel lined plate.
- Wipe out the pan, then melt the remaining 3 tablespoons of butter.
- Add the garlic and cook for 30 seconds.
- Add the flour and whisk to combine.
- Add Yo Mama cooking wine and boil for 30 seconds, then whisk to combine.
- Whisk in the broth and lemon juice.
- Add the cooked shrimp back to the pan and toss.
- Serve over pasta with garnish of fresh parsley.
