Olive Oil Spagetti


8 garlic cloves
450g spaghetti
2 tbsp salt
1 tsp + ½ cup Yo Mama’s Olive oil
½ tsp black pepper
1 tbsp chili flakes
¼ lemon + ½ lemon wedge
½ cup parmigiano reggiano


  1. Thinly slice 8 garlic cloves and set aside
  2. Boil spaghetti in salted water until al dente. Drain spaghetti and set aside
  3. In a pan on medium heat, add in 1 tsp Yo Mama’s Olive oil and cook the garlic until light brown and fragrant
  4. Pour in ½ cup Yo Mama’s Olive oil
  5. Season oil with salt and pepper
  6. Stir for 1 minute and add in chili flakes 
  7. Stir for another minute and add in cooked spaghetti 
  8. Toss spaghetti until it’s evenly coated in oil
  9. Sprinkle with parmigiano reggiano and mix 
  10. Squeeze juice from ¼ lemon and mix once more
  11. Remove from heat and plate in a serving dish
  12. Garnish spaghetti with additional black pepper, parmigiano reggiano, lemon wedge and chili flakes
  13. Enjoy!
