Spicy Marinara Portobello Parmesan


4 x large portobello mushrooms (stem removed)

2 tbsp olive oil

1 tsp salt

1 tsp pepper

1 egg

2 cups Italian breadcrumbs

8 tbsp Yo Mama’s Spicy Marinara sauce 

1 cup shredded parmesan cheese 

½ tbsp parsley



  1. Clean and remove stem from 4 portobello mushrooms 
  2. Place mushrooms on a baking tray and brush both sides of the mushroom with olive oil
  3. Season with salt and pepper 
  4. In a separate bowl, beat 1 egg and place 2 cups Italian breadcrumbs in another bowl 
  5. Dip each mushroom into the egg and fully coat with breadcrumbs 
  6. Place the coated mushrooms on a baking tray and air fry at 350F for 5 minutes
  7. Out of the air fryer, top each mushroom with 2 tbsp Spicy marinara and 2 tbsp parmesan cheese
  8. Air fry for another 2 minutes until cheese is melted 
  9. Out of the oven, garnish with parsley and enjoy!
